Treatment

Oral surgery

Extractions, impacted and wisdom teeth, bone regeneration, sinus lift and laser gum surgery. Often the groundwork that makes implants possible later.

What we do

Extractions

A single-rooted tooth is €30 to €50, a multi-rooted tooth €50 to €100, depending on how the tooth comes out. Wisdom teeth are €110, and a fully impacted tooth requiring surgical exposure is €160.

Bone grafting and regeneration

Where bone has been lost after an extraction or through gum disease, bone substitute material is placed and covered with a resorbable membrane to hold the space while your own bone grows into it. Material is €200, membrane €200, and a complete guided bone regeneration procedure is €500. Healing takes four to six months before an implant can be placed.

Sinus lift

In the upper back jaw the sinus floor often sits too low to allow an implant of adequate length. The sinus membrane is lifted and bone graft placed beneath it, either through the implant site itself for small gains or through a lateral window for larger ones. Planned from the CBCT and quoted with the implant plan.

Laser gingivectomy

Reshaping the gum line with a diode laser, for a gummy smile or to expose enough tooth for a crown margin. €210, with minimal bleeding and rapid healing.

Before surgery

  • Tell us about anticoagulants, bisphosphonates, diabetes and any heart condition — this changes the protocol, not our willingness to treat.
  • Eat normally before a local anaesthetic appointment.
  • Arrange not to fly the same evening after a surgical extraction or graft.

Afterwards

Bite on the gauze for an hour, no rinsing for 24 hours, no smoking, no hot drinks that day, and ice on the outside of the cheek in twenty-minute intervals. Painkillers as prescribed. Swelling peaks at 48 hours and then settles. Stitches, where used, are usually resorbable; if not, they are removed before you fly, or by a dentist at home at seven to ten days.

FAQ

Questions about this treatment

Sometimes. Immediate placement works when there is no active infection and the socket walls are intact. The CBCT and the clinical examination decide, and we plan for both possibilities.

Yes, for anxious patients and for longer surgical sessions. It is arranged in advance and requires that someone accompanies you back to the hotel.

The next day for routine extractions. After a sinus lift we ask you to wait 48 hours and avoid nose-blowing and pressure changes where possible.

For grafts, sinus procedures and impacted teeth, yes. For a simple extraction, usually not. We do not prescribe them routinely without reason.
